El Super Burrito
On a bright March morning in Pasadena Ca, I walked by the El Super Burrito restaurant and saw these city linemen taking a breakfast break. The play of all the colors in the scene pulled me in immediately and I knew I had to paint it. Because I was just visiting and would be leaving within a day I took a couple dozen photos of the scene to use as reference. It’s an acrylic painting, 36″ x 24″ and was painted in 2015.
